Our Specialised Programs at
Child Development Clinic

1. Cerebral palsy Rehabilitation (6 Weeks Onwards)

Cerebral palsy is the leading cause of physical disability in children, resulting from the damage to the brain tissue during pregnancy, birth or during early childhood. The abnormal development or injury to the brain tissue disrupts the nerve signals to the muscles and therefore causes difficulty with movements, posture and co-ordination.

Our protocol for neuro development correction was formulated by incorporating the benefits of Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapies supported by special internal medications and extensive physiotherapy. Ayurvedic herbal medications are scientifically studied for their bio safety profile and ability to enhance neuronal plasticity.

External panchakarma therapies enhances the circulation, mobilizing excess subcutaneous fat, toning up the muscles, opening up the body channels and facilitate subcutaneous absorption of active principles of the herbs. Various Oleation and sudation procedures applied over the body revitalizes the neuro muscular frame work, thereby reverting the pathology.

Physio therapy is a front-line intervention for cerebral palsy helping in early stimulation, prevention of muscle contractures and disuse atrophy.
